Tony Stewart will begin his defense of his Kansas conquest one hour earlier next year than he started this year's race at Kansas Speedway.
The 2010 Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway will start at noon local time. The move was announced by the Kansas Speedway this afternoon.
“Race fans have continually asked for consistent start times and NASCAR and the TV partners have done a great job working with everyone for these new times,” said Kansas Speedway President Jeff Boerger. “I know our fans will appreciate the new start time for the 2010 Kansas 400.”
The Speedway celebrates its 10th year in business next year.

Remember when it was just a water tower out there. There is still that same spiffy BPU logo on it.
