 About: My name is Brandon Ryan and I am involved in Cannabis Law Reform for many reasons. For one I think it's one of the first stepping stones that would help reform our criminal justice system (getting the innocent exonerated and the cannabis related arrests and convictions lessen), which I believe has been crazily run wild. Not only the way that they persecute you and leave you at the top of the court steps alone without knowledge of "What the hell?", but the over packed prisons and jails, along with what goes on inside them. It's just insane, it's not correctional or correcting anybody or anything in the process - they are meant for locking up violent criminals and repeat offenders who need some time to think, for some.. a long time to be isolated. I'm also involved because my father had used marijuana medicinally for his Multiple Sclerosis until he wasn't able to smoke. I didn't know enough at the time to make him edibles and now it's too late due to him being on a feeding tube. So I've concentrated on trying to reform these laws so life can be easier on him. Sativex maybe? All kinds of potential for MS. Speaking of Potential I think Missouri has great potential for Hemp. We had Greenfest this weekend in KC, which aloud me to touch up on my Industrial Hemp knowledge. What happened in Oregon in August 2009 will definitely give us leverage to speak more about Hemp Farming for Missouri.
